Assays for species-specific markers of bacterial meningitis

We offer iDDS probe assays against seven different species-specific markers of six common bacteria found in bacterial meningitis and bacterial sepsis. These markers include: hpd (Haemophilus influenzae), ctrA and sodC (Neisseria meningitidis), lyt (Streptococcus pneumoniae), uidA (Escherichia coli), cfb (Streptococcus agalactiae), and hly (Listeria monocytogenes).

We have also developed a four-tube assay containing two iDDS probe assays/tube. The assays show excellent performance in singleplex and duplex format in terms of sensitivity, signal amplitude, and signal specificity.
