We offer several error-checking real-time PCR assays for detecting VKORC1, CYP2C9*2, and CYP2C9*3 SNP alleles that are related to warfarin dosing. Two of our iDDS probe assays detect common SNPs at the -1639 position of VKORC1 (rs9923231). The companion G-Force reference probe assay (G3050) targets sequences flanking the -1639 locus, for positive detection of the VKORC1 gene in the absence of either SNP.
The CYP2C9*2 iDDS probe assays detect either the C or T alleles at the rs1799853 locus. Similarly, the CYP2C9*3 iDDS probe assays discriminate between the A and C alleles at the rs1057910 locus.
Each iDDS probe assay comes with matching an iDDS antiprobe that blocks off-target detection of similar templates or signaling in the absence of the intended target, as well as a pair of flanking primers.
