Non-polio enteroviruses & parechoviruses

Non-polio enteroviruses cause various human diseases. About 100 non-polio enterovirus serotypes are known, encompassing all Coxsackievirus A/B, echovirus, enterovirus, and rhinovirus strains. Our dual-iDDS probe EV assay provides simultaneous two-color detection at a site conserved among all EV genomes. The EV assay showed robust and specific EV detection when used with infected cells and patient CSF samples.

Parechoviruses comprise a distinct genus within the Picornaviridae family and cause a wide spectrum of human diseases, some of which are shared with enteroviruses, such as spinal meningitis. We offer an iDDS probe assay for parechovirus detection, which detects parechoviruses at a site conserved across all known parechovirus strains. Performance of the PV assay with infected cells is shown below.
